Courtney, the Maid of Honor, met the bride back on June 18, 1995, the same day she decided to grace the world with her presence. She met the groom at Mardi Gras 2012 when he agreed to buy her a case of Bud Light Platinum. They enjoy taking incredible candid photos and ordering ridiculous beverages.

Amanda and the bride met at Loyola back in 2007. She was anointed as Lauren’s big sister, and immediately swept her away from the boring AXO retreat under the guise of needing supplies at Walgreens. Instead they went to a daiquiri shop deep on the Westbank and it was love ever since. Amanda is the reason Lauren lives in San Francisco, and thus, can be credited for this entire wedding.

Brenna and the bride met back in 2007 during sorority recruitment at Loyola. Lauren had transferred from St. Louis, and Brenna is from St. Louis, which is only the beginning of things they have in common. Lauren ended up joining AXO, and they proceeded to live together in multiple houses and in multiple countries, including a room in Spain for 6 months with beds so close they could hold hands.

Caitlin first met the groom on January 20, 1993 when she decided to be born. She met the bride in between her trips home from Boston College and a few trips the couple made up to Boston to see her. Now that she’s back in SF, and they live a few blocks away from each other, they enjoy frequent family dinners, nights out at North Beach bars, and trying to coordinate Barry’s Bootcamp workouts.

Emily first met the bride when she was born. Lauren was super jealous at first because that meant her favorite aunt was going to pay attention to a child that wasn’t her. Once she met Emily she quickly got over it, and now they regularly share their evenings over snapchat and try to coordinate their travel to Chicago at the same time to hang out.

Jennifer met the bride back in 1998 and they’ve mostly been inseparable ever since. Once Lauren decided to dye her hair brown, and Jenn proceeded to not speak to her for an entire month in protest. Lauren dyed her hair back and things have been great ever since. Now they spend their time coordinating travel to country concerts and convincing people to drink tequila red bull.

Kelsey and the bride met in 2004 when they sat next to each other in Biology class. Kelsey asked to meet Lauren during lunch to copy her notes, and Lauren totally forgot, so Kelsey stood by the copier for an hour and didn’t eat. About 6 months later, Lauren loaned Kelsey a pair of brand new Chanel shoes for a date, and they made up and finally became best friends.

Mary and Lauren met back in middle school and quickly became the best of friends. In high school, before texting was a thing, they coordinated their walks between classes so they could pass entire notebooks back and forth to communicate. Their experiences together have included everything from first alcoholic beverages and learning to drive all the way to getting married, and Mary having her first child.

Rebecca met the bride when they were living in Indiana. Their parents were friends, and they had a pool which made them the coolest people Lauren knew. Since then, they’ve shared moving to NoLa, surviving Katrina relocation in Mississippi, and a love for Michelin restaurants and Napa wine. Rebecca is marrying the bride’s brother, so they get to share wedding plans and being sisters now too.

Zachary met the bride in 2008 when their mutual friend Kelsey convinced him to move to New Orleans. On his first night in this culinary city, Lauren took him Copeland’s Cheesecake Bistro. Despite her questionable restaurant choices, they eventually worked together selling cowboy boots and planned many a Sunday dinner together. He is the most important man in Lauren’s side of the wedding party.

Anya met the bride and groom 6 years ago, when she was born. Anya shares a favorite color, gold, with the bride, and a favorite animal, the cheetah, with the groom. She pursues her passions for swimming, soccer, and just hanging out while attending French American school in San Francisco, and is very excited to be part of the bride and groom’s special day!

As the mother of the bride, she instilled in Lauren her love of reading, which is still her favorite pastime today.They spend hours talking about their favorite novels, best restaurants, and their trips around the U.S. She has been instrumental in the wedding planning process, including helping Lauren survive a panic attack over choosing a wedding dress, and keeping her grounded.

From making up stories about a blonde haired, brown-eyed, girl with freckles and her adventures, to dealing with teenage girls at carpool, to advice on navigating meetings and negotiations, the father of the bride taught her to work hard, never give up, and always believe in herself. Both him and Nancy have been a huge part of the wedding planning process, and the couple is overjoyed to have them by their side.
